This after I’d dug my way out of my driveway and taken a drive around Walla Walla, WA, capturing more snow pictures. The snowplow had tossed up a 2′ wall of icy snow the night before. I cleared off my driveway (again) and was chipping away at the wall when a neighbor and her son stopped to help me! I continued to chop away at the ice/snow wall and the two of them used snow shovels to move it out of the way. Wasn’t that nice of them!?!?!
The other night one of the newscasters said the idea of using snow shovels was to shove the snow aside, and not lift it. If I knew who originated that idea I’d invite them to my place and ask them to demonstrate their wonderful technique!!
